The Library of Göcseji Museum is a research library, it can only be visited with an exploration license. The collecting scope of the library is primarily focused on literature related to archaeology, history, the history of religion, art history, local history, ethnographical literature of the Middle Danube Basin, as well as Hungarian and foreign technical books, technical journals necessary for the collection of the museum, mainly Hungarian historical source publications, cultural history publications from the Middle Ages and the modern age. Our storage of periodicals is particularly valuable because the larger part of the museum periodicals of the neighbouring countries are found in it.
